Ronan aka Hollis

Hollis has been renamed Ronan. It is Gailic for Gentle Seal and he really is a gentle dog! We are so glad that he has come to live with us. I have had dogs since I was a small child and I have never had one that is as smart and as well behaved as he is. Ronan is curious about everything and is not afraid of much. He walks with me as I vacuum the house and has no fear of the sound! We take him everywhere with us so that he remains people friendly. He goes to work in the mornings with my husband and has made alot of new friends! Ronan loves to run and we have 21/2 acres in our backyard. We are starting to teach him to run through an obstacle course. He loves learning new things. I hope that his brothers are doing well in their new homes. I have been advocating your organization to people interested in getting a dog. I think that what you are doing is fantastic! Thanks for checking in on him.

Harper

He’s in my lap right now. Very much a lovebug. I think he been craving one on one attention for a long time. He loves all of his new toys and variety of chew bones. I have discovered that he abhores baths and unfortunately he is not housebroken as we originally thought. However I’m confident he will learn quickly. A fellow dog owner has already offered some training tips. Harper really is a good boy and I can see in his eyes that he is soooo happy to be with me. I also think he will love living in Boston since there is so much going on around him at all times. So overall I’d say we are both very pleased. Take care and I will update you soon.

Milky

Milky is doing fine. He is still named Milky. My Sons loved the name. He has his rabies shots and I think he is a bit spoiled. I will update you with Photos later.

Thanks,
David.

Betsy

Betsy is doing great! She is one of the family, for sure. She has two canine sisters, one of which spends half the day wrestling with her, the other half hunting squirrels and sparrowsin the back yard. She is learning to return her tennis balls to us after a fetch, and she sits quite nicely for a treat. She is excellent with our kids, affectionate to us, agood watchdog, and smart and easy to train…who could ask for more??? We love her! Hope her siblings have fared as well.

Sincerely, Marge Vorhaben

Bo

Bo/Bandit is good! He’s still a hyper lil guy lol. I’ve been tryin to teach him fetch, but it’s more like chase. He knows to get the ball, or catch it, and he will let go of it, but u have to catch him first lol. He seems to be healthy, he has his next appointment in 3 weeks, and i guess the doctor is going to see if he is ready for heart worm. He loves the crazy new england weather, he loves to run in the snow, and u have to pull him out of the rain lol. He also like to chase my mother’s cat lol, which we are trying to break him from lol. But he is doing really good.
Chris
