What to do if you have an animal that needs a home?
- Have a vet check the animal over, estimating the age and checking its health. Get the pet up-to-date on shots and tested for heartworms or feline leukemia.
- If healthy, have the cat or dog spayed or neutered. If a dog has heartworms, you may want to wait until treatment is over and the dog is strong enough for surgery before you spay or neuter.
- Please email us to get our fax number so you may send proof of shots, heartworm test and spay/neuter.
- Once we receive all records, we will arrange to get a picture of the pet and post it on our website.
- Please note that we will not attempt to place unaltered and unvetted animals from owner surrender. All animals must be spayed or neutered and up to date on their vaccinations in order to be posted on our site.
